How to Wash Fruits & Vegetables during Coronavirus Crisis

Currently, there is no evidence that you can get Coronavirus spread through food, but it can stay surfaces for several days. Experts say it’s safe to wash groceries before using them. Even during lockdown time, people are coming out from home only to buy vegetables, fruits and other essentials.

Here are our 5 Steps for Cleaning Fruits and Vegetables

Step 1: Whenever we go out to buy groceries, it’s necessary to take safety measures.

  • Please wear a mask outdoor.
  • Wear Faceshield high-risk zone
  • Maintain a social distance of six feet in shops
  • Wear hand gloves or wash hands with hands after coming back home.

Step 2: Vegetables-washing Liquid: Soak the fruits and vegetable for 2 to 3 mins in the prepared solution.
Organic: Soak the fruits and vegetable for 2 mins in the prepared turmeric water.

Step 3: Rub individual pieces thoroughly with hands dipped within the solution and transfer the soaked vegetables in a strainer.

Step 5: Rinse thoroughly with normal water.
